The best time of the year to see the Jefferson Memorial is mid-spring in
late March and early April, when the cherry blossom trees that line the Tidal Basin are in
bloom. The reflection of the white flowering trees in the Tidal Basin create a magical
scene.
A good tip is to rent a paddleboat from the Tidal Basin's Boathouse. On a
nice day the paddleboats offer a unique view and its not hard to stay completely dry.
An evening stroll by the memorial can be quite romantic.
