The inside tip on the National Air and Space Museum is to go early. This is the most
visited building in the world, so it can get crowded. Additionally, although the museum
has dining facilities, there are much better places to have lunch. The mediocre food is
expensive, so wait until later and go to Union Station.
The artifacts collected by the National Air & Space Museum are incredible. Plan to
spend a couple of hours there.
One exhibit not to miss is " Earth Today: A Digital View of Our Dynamic Planet"
. The ten-foot high display is connected to various data collection sites around the world
to give real time depictions of the planet. If there's an earthquake or tornado anywhere
on the planet, you'll be the first to know.
