One of the exhibits at the National Museum of
African Art is South Africa 1936 - 1949 Photographs By Canstance Stuart Larrabe . This
interesting exhibit covers the life and work of Constance Stuart Larrabee (b. 1914), who
worked as a professional photographer in South Africa until 1950. Her poignant black and
white photos capture the spirit of the South African people in this period of history.
